Lydia’s Story – From Historic Ellicott City

Lydia’s historic house had been on the market for close to a year until she saw Sybil’s name on a home sold in her city. She decided to give Sybil a call because she was unhappy with receiving minimum effort and communication from her previous real estate agent, who at the time seemed too busy to give Lydia’s home the attention it needed. Sybil got on the job right away and came to see the house immediately.

Right away, she noticed the house could use a considerable amount of effort. First, Sybil recommended a lawn service company that maintained the lawn, weeded, and trimmed back the shrubbery. There were a couple other minor repairs that she was able to offer recommendations on as well. Then, she got to work with personally offering Lydia a crew of cleaners and movers that got the house looking brand new again. Next, she offered her advice on staging. With a couple of different pieces of artwork and rearranging of the furniture, the house had a whole new look inside. Lastly, she brought the garden out front back to life by sprucing up the landscaping with some extra plants.

In the end, Lydia’s home was finally sold to a happy new couple. They had been on the hunt for a historic home with character, it was a perfect fit!
